Description

Two volume set, A Sketch of the Botany of South Carolina and Georgia in Two Volumes by Stephen Elliott (1771-1830). Published 1821 by J.R. Schenck. An early book set on the botany of South Carolina and Georgia. Books contain illustrations at the back showing various plants. Books are quarter bound in brown leather with blue marbled boards. 8vo.

Condition

Books have been re-bound. Some scuffing to leather and boards. Books are ex-library and do have library embossed stamps and markings. Some of the pages in the index of volume II have tears and missing pieces. Each book: h. 8.5", w. 5.5", d. 1.75"
