Canadian. Brantford, Ontario. 1890s. Stoneware. This flower pot with integrated saucer was produced at the Brantford Pottery likely during the latter part of William Welding's ownership (1873-1894) or shortly after The Brantford Stoneware Manufacturing Company was established (1894-1905). Flower pots featuring this pattern were produced in several different sizes. 5.75" x 6.25" upper diameter.

A small shallow flake exists beneath the rim on the saucer and a dab of red overpaint can be seen on the rim of the pot. The white film seen at the base of the pot is nothing more than calcium and mineral deposits left from water.
