Woodcut on paper print titled "Black Spruce in Autumn (After Thompson)" depicting a fall scene from the hills and lakes to the east of Lake Superior known as Algoma country, 2001. Pencil signed and dated along the lower right; titled along the lower center; editioned 6/20 along the lower left.
Jim Meyer is an artist based in Hopkins, Minnesota. He studeid at the University of Minnesota and Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Based on his artistic interest in the American landscape, much of the subject matter in his artistic practice is drawn from Minnesota's North shore.
