A vintage wood sculpture of a hand carved sperm whale by Wick Ahrens, 1995. The sperm whale is black in color, sculpted in a realistic manner, with an open mouth with large, sharp teeth. On the side there is a clearly carved signature of the artist and the date of creation of the work, 1995. Wick Ahrens, 1944 to 2016, American artist and sculptor. His work can be found in NMNA national bank, many private collections, as well as public museums and galleries across the country.
