JOHN ROGERS (AMERICAN 1829-1904) PAINTED PLASTER FIGURAL GROUPING, H 22", W 17", D 9 1/2", "COMING TO THE PARSON" Depicting a young couple speaking with a Parson. Signed in the front right of the base. "Patented Aug 9 1870" on the back of the base.

Condition

Chipping to the base (see photos). Chipping to the paint on the head of the figure of the Parson. Appears to have been repainted at some point.
