A Costa Rican terracotta sculpture. Pre-Columbian era, ca. 1250–1500 AD. The figurine represents a seated woman with a child on her knees. The vent holes on the ears and back allowed heated air to escape while the composition was being fired. Collectible Ceramics And Pottery, Sculpture, Ancient American Historical Relics.
