Alexis Demarle was born in 1872 in Paris. Student of the beautiful art of Paris Resident of the Villa Medici. Won competition for the Rome Prize in 1884. Member of the National Society of Fine Art and the Salon of Independent Artists. He exhibited regularly until 1928. His workshop was at 59 rue Lamartine in Paris.
