Description
Roman, manufactured in North Africa, Imperial Period, ca. 4th century CE. A lovely redware pottery dish with a raised circular foot, expanding walls, a shallow basin, and a discoid rim. Incised rings adorn the interior of the basin as well as the outer edge of the rim. Size: 7.875" W x 1.55" H (20 cm x 3.9 cm).

Light abrasions on verso, with one streak of black pigment within basin, and minor encrustations, otherwise intact and very good. Light earthen deposits throughout.
