DESCRIPTION: Antique portable wooden travel desk featuring tooled leather writing surface lifting to reveal a compartment.

CONDITION: Hinges are lacking some screws. Moderate tear to leather. Moderate losses and minor abrasions to leather. Minor and moderate chips to veneers in spots. Distressing and moderate losses to lacquer at interior compartment. Lacking at least one insert at interior, with the result that the pen tray is loose. Chips to pen tray in spots. Moderate scratching, particularly to top, consistent with age and use. Residue present at interior in spots.
