Description
RUSSIAN IMPERIAL BADGE 31st INFANTRY REGIMENT, 1911
This is a Russian Imperial badge from the 31st Infantry Regiment, featuring a gold wreath made of laurel and oak branches bound by a gold ribbon. Inside the wreath, you'll find the gold cypher of Empress Anna Ioannovna beneath the gold Grand Duchess Crown hemispheres and falling gold ribbons. Positioned on the cypher of Anna Ioannovna is the gold cypher of Emperor Nicholas II beneath the gold Imperial crown. The badge is made of bronze. Unfortunately, the enamel has worn off, and only traces of white and blue enamel remain. However, we believe that restoring the enamel should not be a significant challenge.
