Four Adirondack Railroad Annual Passes - 1878, 1880, 1881, and 1888
A group of four passes for Adirondack Railroad. Adirondack Company's Railroad passes include an 1878 pass issued to W.S. Sneden, General Manager of New Jersey Southern Railroad and signed by Superintendent Ballard. An 1880 pass issued to E.O. Ruggles, Travel Passenger Agent of Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul Railway and signed by Superintendent Durkee. An 1881 pass issued to E.R. Beardsley, Cashier of Connecticut Western Railway and signed by Superintendent Durkee. The 1888 Adirondack Railway Co. pass No. 18 was issued to Frank M. Baker, General Superintendent of Addison & Pennsylvania Railroad Co. and signed by the railroad president William W. Durant. The passes all show general signs of use with some discoloration, wear along the edges and backs of the pass. The back of the 1878, 1881, and 1888 passes all show mild to severe leftover adhesive and paper marks. See photos for best description.
