Lot of (5) Pieces of Art Deco Jewelry and Accessories to Include Sterling Silver, Gold-Filled and Genuine Pearl Items
For your consideration are (5) pieces of Art Deco jewelry and accessories. Included in the lot are:
1. Art Deco Enameled Compact. Brass compact with (2) separate compartments - one compartment still filled with original 'rouge'. The exterior of the brass contact is beautifully enameled with geometric pattern in red and black. The backside of the brass compact has an engraved striped decoration. Compact is in excellent condition with no damage, breaks or repairs and all compartments open/close as they were originally intended to. Light surface wear noted commensurate with age and respectful use. Compact measures 2 5/8" in diameter.
2. Sterling Silver Link Bracelet with Central Red Glass Ring. Bracelet measures 6 1/2" in total length with central glass ring measuring 1" in diameter. Closure marked "Sterling". We have not polished this offering and will leave that to the discretion and expertise of the winning bidder. Light surface wear noted commensurate with age and respectful use.
3. Art Deco 12K Gold-Filled Brooch Accented with Genuine Pearls. Brooch measures 2 1/4"(l) x 1 1/2")w) and is marked on its reverse "12K Gold Filled / IPS". IPS stands for Imperial Pearl Syndicate, founded in 1941 and is handily responsible for the popularity and export of Akoya pearls into the American jewelry market post-World War II. Item is in excellent condition with no damage, breaks, missing pieces or repairs.
4. Art Deco Gold-Filled Brooch with Red Stone Accent. This stylish brooch measures 2 1/2"(l) x 2 1/4"(w) and is indistinctly marked on its pin. Item is in excellent condition with no repair. Light wear and scuffs noted on red stone.
5. Art Deco Link Bracelet by Monet. Bracelet carries original "Monet" metal hang tag and safety chain. Bracelet, when closed, has a total length of 8 1/2". Item has not been polished and we will leave that to the discretion and expertise of the winning bidder. Item is in excellent condition showing only light wear commensurate with age and respectful use.
