Description

Vintage c1940 Bethlehem Star with Satellite Stars measuring 74 by 76 inches. The large center star has 8 points and is comprised of 60 degree diamonds 3.75" point to point. It is against a red chambray ground with satellite stars in the corners and half satellite stars in the setting triangles. It is hand and machine pieced, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front and applied by machine. It is in good condition with a minor wear area by the binding along one side. Great Depression Era Feedsack prints! This quilt is from the estate of Sharon Stark, noted Pennsylvania textile dealer and award winning author. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
