Item/Description: French Art Nouveau bronze figural inkwell. After one of Max Blondat's (French, 1879 - 1926) most famous sculptures; the Fountain of Youth (Fontaine Jeunesse / La fontaine aux grenouilles), representing three children watching three frogs. Inscribed, Max Blonbat. Also with Siot-Paris foundry mark and dedication to a senior official at a university. The glass inkwells are missing. Original sculpture created in 1904.

Dimensions: Depth: 9 1/2"; Width: 11"; Height: 16"

Condition: Free of dents, damage. Surface use and age wear includes scratches, scuffs, oxidation in inkwell chambers, missing inserts in wells.
