Renton wore jeans, a jacket, and T-shirt at a nightclub with Simon/Sickboy (Jonny Lee Miller). Begbie (Robert Carlyle) chased Renton through the city and sliced his arm with a knife.

The Loom brand silk/poly jacket and Sunspel T-shirt (both size L) have "E" handwritten on their labels in pink marker. The black cotton jeans (size 33/32) by luxury designer Acne Studios feature a handwritten label inside that reads "1-Renton - #2." The jacket exhibits an intentional tear on the left sleeve from Begbie's knife attack, with faux blood on the white, long-sleeve T-shirt.
