DESCRIPTION: Antique travel chest featuring a carved wood exterior bound by iron trimmed wooden bars and studded leather and fitted with three clasps one of which locks. Interior contains a dividing board lined with fabric matching interior remainder. No key.
CIRCA: Late 19th Century, possibly older
ORIGIN: Continental
DIMENSIONS: H: 13.5" W: 19" L: 31"
CONDITION: Handles are missing from either side; iron component is missing from bottom left; minor wear of wood on underside and of fabric lining interior; central clasp shows oxidation, untested for lack of key
