The plates were worked on by many prominent botanical artists, including John Curtis, Sydenham Edwards, James Sowerby and William Hooker. Published in one volume by Stephen Couchman in London in 1796. Title page is inscribed with names of owners. Some loss consistent with age of item. Also includes 2 plates from a later edition of the book.
