Description

Came out of an estate sale in Westport NY in the Adirondacks about 15 years ago. The gentleman in the automobile was from Westport NY and went out to Wyoming and became the first Governor. On the back in pen it states - May 9, 1905, Gov Eugene Osborne in his new automobile, In Indian camp, He gave the squaws a half dollar each to pose besides him, After Wyoming became a state he became the first Governor. The only other photo I found of this image is in the Carbon County Museum with some very interesting bio on the image. This is an original photo mounted on cardboard w/ original inscription on back. Framed in a Museum Glass frame. Approx image size is 9 by 7.25 inches and frame is 18 by 15. Great Historical Image. Comes w/ the Museum Catalogues.
