The estate of James Berndon (1931 - 2017) after the passing of his loving spouse the collection has been placed in our care. He served in the military during the Korean conflict, After military service he was employed By a major communication company where he spent times in the Asian countries His interest of the fine artwork on porcelains created his desire to collect various items over his career.

An amazing level of craftsmanship exquisite, and magnificent. In Chinese culture, green stands for cleanliness and purity from contamination. Blue stands for healing, trust and long life. The red color of the packet symbolizes good luck, corresponding with fire, good fortune and joy. Green stands for health, prosperity, and harmony. All this in advertently gave texture, energy, shading to the design, and prosperous combination color in Chinese culture.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign marks. Made in The Years of Kangxi Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty. Made in The Years Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
