The Chinese wish-granting wand, or commonly called ruyi scepter, of carved Zitan wood, the scepter's head decorated elaborately with detail of vigorously front-facing striding imperial dragons soaring between dense of flames and scrolling ruyi clouds, the comprised design on body and handle. The wood shows dense hardwood, with fine feathery grain and dark lustrous patina. Adorned with golden endless knot suspending the purple tassel. The ruyi, considered one of the Eight Treasures, was a scepter which represented power and authority.

Over all in EXCELLENT condition, with normal anomalies in nature, natural wood imperfection, sign of stressed surface, minor scratch & dent; Normal consider ages and wears.
