fourth quarter 19th century, Baltimore, Maryland, Baltimore standard (.917) silver, of ovoid form with tall, twined vine handle, mascaron spout and domed foot, richly decorated all over with repousse flowers in the Baltimore taste.

In overall very good condition, with no dents, breaks or repairs noted. Beautiful detail, but some wear to the highest relief consistent with age and use. Hefty. Marked (on the bottom, inside the pedestal foot) "S. Kirk & Son 11 OZ." (the first letter and digit rubbed). A very handsome piece indeed.
