first quarter 20th century, including:
a Barbour Hobson Co., Hartford Connecticut, urn-form tea caddy, h. 5-3/4", dia. 3-1/2"; and
an S. Kirk & Son Co., Baltimore, Maryland, swing-handle sugar basket, h. 4-1/4" (6-3/4" with handle), l. 6", w. 4";
both decorated all over with flowers in the Baltimore taste, the latter with memorial inscription to J. Hough Cottman (1847-1919).
