This item appeared on pp. 142-143 of the January 1967 issue Playboy magazine as part of the pictorial "The Playmate as Fine Art: Eleven contemporary artists interpret Playboy's provacative gatefold girl" with the caption, "[Rivers] comments that he had taken the commission very seriously, declined to make a further statement about his 5-ft.-tall plexiglass and metal Playmate construction, asserting that words would interfere with the communication between it and the observer."
