The maps have been laid on contemporary linen on spring-loaded rollers which retract back into the cabinet. There are small losses and some discoloration as usual. The cabinet has had some minor conservation work done to the interior spring mechanisms and the back. Two ram's head pulls have been replaced by brass ring pulls.
