This is a pair of desktop smoking accessories. (A) A cast iron match and cigar holder in the figural form of a island native carrying a basket that held the matches, as well as holding a container that would have held small cheroot-sized cigars. It is of cast iron construction with an ashtray base. CONDITION: There is added polychrome paint with a great aged finish. There are no breaks, cracks or repairs. (B) A cast bronze cigar holder and lighter in the form of a swash buckling gentleman in a full cape with a cigar coming out of his mouth, which is actually the tube for the lighter. His hat is removed to add kerosene, and the cigar sat in the bucket next to him. CONDITION: The holder shows a great aged patina to the brass casting, original marble base and the original hat, which is removeable to add the kerosene.
