A nice example of this early trade sign for an optometrist featuring nice hand-painted eyes in the lens regions, as well as ornately-crafted metal features. CONDITION: Side one shows general wear to the hand-painted eyeballs in the lenses. This patina enhances the display very well. The metal frame shows light wear and general paint loss, which is appropriate for the sign. The left-hand lens ring shows a break to the metal, which appears to have been repaired at some point in the past. (8.0). Side two remains in similar condition, showing the hand-lettered wording "No. 11." The two lens regions show general age-appropriate wear, as well as general wear and paint loss to the metal framing.
