Description

These desktop cigar lighters came in many forms, this one being a mythical horned figure - possibly Pan - mounted on an eagle or falcon's formed claw foot base. It has a lighter dip mounted in the back of his head where the kerosene would be put, while a perpetual flame would extend from the cigar in the figure's mouth. CONDITION: The lighter shows wonderful aged patina to the bronze, with some areas of applied polychrome paint that has worn, giving it a wonderful patina. No breaks, cracks or repairs.
