Description
This unique piece of electric display advertising was used in Svoboda's Tavern in Chicago for years before it closed its doors in 1989. Kelly the Cow employs wonderful intermittent movements, including head, eyes and the raising and lowering of its right hoof, which appears to be providing a stamp on the hands of the patrons. It is in all original condition. CONDITION: There are areas of staining, dirt, some areas of paint loss, a couple issues on the hand with the paper mache; however, it is all original, it is operational and it is a very unique piece of early electric window advertising. PROVENANCE: From the lifelong collection of Bill Howard. This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made. Condition: (Good) Dimensions: 24" x 19" x 33".
