CONTINENTAL CERAMIC FIGURAL ANTHROPOMORPHIC ANIMAL HUMIDORS, LOT OF TWO, comprising a Little Red Riding Hood bisque example depicting the wolf dressed in women's clothing and remaining example featuring a dog or lion sitting in a chair, wearing colonial attire with wig, and holding a snuff box in left hand. Marks to underside include "JM / 3610" and "2392 / G. & St." Johann Maresch (Austrian, 1821-1914), Austria or Czechoslovakia; Gerbing & Stephan, Bodenbach, Austria. Fourth quarter 19th century. 7 3/4" HOA.Â

Colonial dog/lion example having top with two flakes to interior flange and a minute flake to underside of one chair arm; Little Red Riding Hood example having a few flakes to edge of hood, professional restoration to top interior flange, bottom having a chip to rim and some flakes to top of right arm.Â
