Description
CONTINENTAL CERAMIC ETHNIC / TURKISH FIGURAL HUMIDORS, LOT OF FIVE, comprising one small full-bodied woman example wearing a fez and traditional garments and four head examples featuring men with facial hair including two wearing a fez hat, one having a red bandana with knotted hair to back, and one wearing turban-style head wrap, three having sponge holder tops. Marks to underside include shield with "JS", "BB", "FGW", and various numerals. Bernhard Bloch, Eichwald, Bohemia; Josef Strnact, Turn-Teplitz, Bohemia; and F. Gerbing Witwe, Bodenbach, Bohemia. Second half 19th century. 8 1/4" HOA.

Condition
Each having some, mostly minor, imperfections; head with turban having a minor flake to underside sponge holder; head with red fez having a flake to interior base rim and scattered glaze wear; woman having a chip to interior cover flange; mustached man wearing fez having moderate paint touch-ups; largest head with bandana having a moderate chip to interior top edge.
