STERLING SILVER CHATELAINE / HINGED EYEGLASSES CASES, LOT OF FOUR, one leather-bodied chatelaine with chain and "STERLING SILVER" marked pin/clasp, another chatelaine with pebbled surface with chain and clasp each having hallmarks including lion passants for fineness, an anchor for Birmingham, England, and makers mark "L.E.", and two hinge-lidded cases marked "STERLING" and "STERLING SILVER", one with "J.A.C." engraved monogram and another with illegible monogram engraving plus embossed scrolling floral and tulip decorations. Various makers. Late 19th/early 20th century. 6" LOA without counting chains.

Condition
Excellent condition overall with essentially nothing more than minor tarnish, some flaking to leather chatelaine and with the felt backing separating slightly from interior of embossed case.
