Description

A Steam Gauge Lamp & Lantern bellbottom lantern that takes a 5 3/8" globe. The very top has the Steam Gauge hallmark stamped in a ring. The lid has C&MRR stamped in wide Steam Gauge lettering. The tin fount on the twist off bell was repaired poorly at some point. The red unmarked globe is probably a newer Dietz model and should be replaced with a real #39 with extended base. The Concord & Montreal existed form 1889-1895 when it was taken over by the Boston & Maine. Some pitting but not bad
