A hand colored etching on wove paper, by Fernand Leger. The artwork, titled Les Trois Musiciens or The Three Musicians depicts a group of three musicians playing various musical instruments. The etching was created after the original painting of Leger 1944. Provenance: Private collection, New York, USA. Comes with Certificate of Authenticity by VRP Gallery, INC. Inscribed in pencil E.A. lower left and by artist signature lower right. Matted and framed. Fernand Leger, 1881 to 1955, was a French painter, sculptor, and director. In his early works, he created a personal form of Cubism known as Tubism, which he gradually modified into a more figurative, populist style.
