Description
China, 1115-1368. The globular body supported on a spreading foot and rising to a gently flared neck, the shoulder and neck applied with a pair of strap handles, covered overall in a pale grayish-blue glaze thinning to mushroom at the rim and edges of the handles, decorated with small splashes of crimson-lavender, and stopping irregularly above the unglazed foot.
Provenance: Property of a Lady in the United Kingdom.
Condition: Very good condition with minor wear and firing flaws including pitting, bubbles, and glaze recesses. Minuscule chips to the foot.
