Second, a WATTS DEE silver plated cigar box applied with a monogram and the date 1938, marked on the bottom with an image of a lion; third, a smaller rectangular trinket box engraved to the lid: Best Wishes to the Air Group Commander and featuring a list of names flanking an engraved griffin, hallmarked on the bottom with British silverplate hallmarks by Friedman silver Co. founded 1908.
