DESCRIPTION: French giltwood wall-hanging clock & thermometer, the clock featuring Roman numerals, the case featuring floral, foliage, pinecone, ram's head and flame motifs. In pencil at reverse of case: "11/VIII 1936 H. Bergme[r?]". Two wood components marked "7402" at back.

DIMENSIONS: H: 66.25" W: 18" Depth: 6.5"
CONDITION: Clock not in working order; lacking pendulum and bell. Lacking barometer equipment. Case possibly lacking components for hanging. Minor to moderate losses to case. Moderate to heavy abrasions and/or craquelure to case. Moderate gilt loss throughout case. Losses and cracking to dial. Metal backing for dial is partially detached. Door covering dial does not fully close.
