Near pair of Friedman Brothers (American 1903) giltwood and composition mirrors in the Chinese Chippendale taste, having temple form crests, flanked by ho-ho birds, one containing a beveled plate, one containing a plain plate, and variations to the frames at lower curved sections, one retaining a paper manufacturer's label.

Scattered breaks with some losses, both with restorations to the crests/birds, variations to the frames at lower curved sections, frame with beveled plate has a brighter gilded finish and has a break at the upper right curved section of the frame with the flower missing, mirror with plain plate with loss to tip of flower at upper curved left corner of frame, no apparent cracks or chips to plates, frames are structurally sound.
