Description
Augustin Santi Optician (French 1830-1900), stick barometer, second quarter 19th century, having a mahogany veneer marquetry inlaid case, engraved silvered plaques, and a barometer flanked by a mercury and spirit thermometers, marked to the barometer.
Note: Auguste Santi (French 1805-1886) was the son of Augustin Santi (1775-1837).

Condition
Chip to case, some minor veneer issues and warped door, thermometers appear intact, tape to barometer possibly masking repair as mercury does not fill tube correctly, case is structurally sound.
