BIOGRAPHY:
Einar Gross was a well-known for his city- and harbor scenes. His father was a marine painter and this inspired him to paint, though he started as a regular painter's apprentice. Gross belonged to the group of Blokhus Painters: A group of painters associated with Area Lokken and Blokhus on the West coast. His primary motive was Aalborg city and its surroundings which were often bright and full of the joy of life.
