**Originally Listed At $300**

Native American, Northwestern United States, Alaska, Inuit / Yupik, ca. early to mid-20th century CE. A doll figure with a soapstone man's head, the body dressed in cotton, leather, and yarn, with a wool hood trim and felt boot cuffs. His body is composed of cotton stuffed with a dense filling. The piece is expertly sewn and embroidered - traditionally girls learned to make dolls and clothing to gain the skills needed for raising a family. Size: 12" L x 5" W (30.5 cm x 12.7 cm)
