English, circa 1870s, the condenser and diaphragm marked Macro ILLR/ W. Watson & Sons / 748", fitted with a one-inch lens with mark of Ross Zentmayer, and engraved to base "Richard Moreland Jun. r /1872", presented together with a fitted Mogoany case equipped with additional binocular lenses, lens cases, and plates; labeled.

Crack to one side of stand, mirrored glass with crack, some scuffing and minor visible use wear and light scattered corrosion spots, not tested for functionality; general wear and grime to case, glue repair to handle.
