Very fine Chinese Carved White Jade lidded censer. Raised on splayed foot base, elaborately open work carved Dragon curved handles extending broadly towards the lips, giving the handles a elegant presence. Having domed lids with simply flared open finial. The dome surface carved by Chrysanthemum floral form shape and the main body carved with similar chrysanthemum shape. "Chrysanthemum is a treasured flower in China and is a symbol of joy and a wish for peaceful retirement. The carving are superb, finely polished plain exterior, simply design yet elegant. Displays smooth carving and beautiful clean translucent, moist milky appearance all over surfaces. The Nephrite Jade has a lustrous tone, with pale-celadon iridescent and attractive sporadic golden russet inclusions, exquisite and detail, the jade stone have clean tone, with pale-celadon iridescent and moist milky appearance.
