Native American, Southwestern United States, Arizona, Anasazi (Ancestral Puebloan), ca. 1100 to 1300 CE. A hand-built pottery pitcher in a black-on-white style, with a thick handle and globular body. This piece is likely the Black Mesa Black-on-white style, which is a type of Tusayan White Ware. The exterior of the vessel is elaborately hand-painted with bands of spiral and linear motifs around the tapering neck and nested zigzag and maze designs on the bulbous body. Size: 6.5" Diameter x 7" H (16.5 cm x 17.8 cm)
