First Lady of China Madame Chiang Kai-shek Signed Copy of "The Sure Victory"
Madame Chiang Kai-shek (1898-2003). English edition of her memoir, "The Sure Victory", a message of strength through faith, signed on the front free endpaper with her natural and married names, "Mayling Soong Chiang". Grand Rapids, MI: Fleming H. Revell Co., 1955. Book measures 6" x 8.5" in original price-clipped dust jacket. Bound in publisher's pale blue boards with black lettering. Chipping to jacket with areas of paper loss. Book has minor shelf wear, otherwise, it is in very good condition. Accompanied by a Typed Letter Signed by Pearl Chen, secretary to Madame Chiang Kai-shek, on Presidential letterhead dated March 18, 1968, indicating that Madame Chiang Kai-shek has autographed the book.
This item comes with a Certificate from John Reznikoff, a premier authenticator for both major 3rd party authentication services, PSA and JSA (James Spence Authentications), as well as numerous auction houses.
