Another bird rendered in gold wire as well is in flight at upper right. The tree is done in silver wire that varies in thickness throughout the design. The border at top and bottom is precise and brilliant. This is a masterpiece of Japanese cloisonne. INSIDE HEIGHT: INSIDE WIDTH: OUTSIDE HEIGHT:7.25 OUTSIDE WIDTH:3 OUTSIDE DEPTH:3

Condition

We have provided excellent hi resolution photos of each lot so that prospective buyers can use them to determine the condition of the item. Upon request, we will provide a more detailed condition report which will be added to the item's description within 24 hours of the request being submitted. Any such requests must be made by Thur Apr 4th. Condition report requested... The vase is in very fine condition. There is one small pin point dark spot just under the left most branch. Extremely minor and made in the firing. I have had questions about the base. It looks like there is a thin wax substance on the base, but I am sure it is original. I can see it through the top opening. It has not been drilled or repaired in any way. ECFA 3/25/24
