They are both by the same artist. This one measures 15.875 x 19.875 inches board size. While this one is unsigned, the other has a partial signature which has been largely cut off but the date remains (19)23. There may be enough there for someone to identify the artist, but I've not been able to crack it. They are incredible quality and date from the height of modernism and fauvism. This painting shows a view of a couple of seated figures beside a farmhouse with some sort of straw tower with a triangular roof.
