Description
Set of five white jade pieces with brown spots. Composed of four plaques with various shapes, decorated with a continuous embossed diamond pattern and a ram figure. The head is tilted backwards and the curled horns are prominent. The shapes of the plaques represent a curled-up dragon, a squared disc with rounded corners, a "Huang" and a "C" shaped disc. The carving is meticulous and it shows a patina. It presents holes for the insertion of a lanyard to anchor it to the garment. Warring Kingdoms Period ( 403 - 222 BC)
