There are pinholes in the corners and the upper and lower center borders. The poster also has a bit of corner crimping and bumps to the upper right corner and, to a much lesser extent, along the left and right edges.

First published during WWI in 1918, the "Care For Her Through the YWCA" was created to recruit females into the YWCA, known as the "Young Women's Christian Organization." As men were off at war, many jobs formerly held by men opened up to women, including factory jobs, despite the fact that many were incredibly dangerous. The poster depicts a strong, proud woman holding a miniature fighter and artillery shell.
