Francis MacNabb was a commercial photographer based in New York City during the early to mid-20th century. He is known for his portraits of celebrities, politicians, and other prominent figures of the time, as well as for his advertising and editorial work.

MacNabb began his career as a photo retoucher before opening his own photography studio in the 1920s. He quickly gained a reputation for his high-quality work and attention to detail, and his clients included a number of major advertising agencies and publications.

In addition to his commercial work, MacNabb also produced a significant body of fine art photography, including landscapes, cityscapes, and still lifes. He was a member of the prestigious Photo League and exhibited his work in galleries and museums throughout the United States.
