6 in lot with original envelope. All unused.

The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders (Princess Louise's) was a line infantry regiment of the British Army that existed from 1881 until amalgamation into the Royal Regiment of Scotland on 28 March 2006.

The regiment was created under the Childers Reforms in 1881 by the amalgamation of the 91st (Argyllshire Highlanders) Regiment of Foot and 93rd (Sutherland Highlanders) Regiment of Foot. The regiment's history can be traced back to the raising of the Stirlingshire Militia in 1639.

The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders served in many major campaigns, including the Napoleonic Wars, the Crimean War, the Indian Mutiny, the Boer War, the First World War, and the Second World War. The regiment was also involved in many peacekeeping and peacemaking operations after the Second World War.

The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders were a highly respected regiment, and they were known for their courage, loyalty, and discipline. The regiment's motto was "Nemo Me Impune Lacessit" (No one provokes me with impunity).

The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders were amalgamated into the Royal Regiment of Scotland in 2006. The Royal Regiment of Scotland is a large infantry regiment that is made up of seven battalions, including one battalion that perpetuates the traditions of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.

The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders have a long and distinguished history. They have served in many major campaigns and have earned a reputation for their courage, loyalty, and discipline. The regiment's legacy continues today in the Royal Regiment of Scotland
